Section 2-2-602 of the ACICS Accreditation Criteria governs changes of location.
When requesting approval for a change of location, institutions must submit the following items:
• A completed Change of Location Application form
• Payment for the $300 application fee.
• Evidence of state recognition and/or final approval for the new location, such as an updated license or official approval letter. Letters showing preliminary or conditional approval are generally not accepted.
• A separate narrative explaining and justifying the change.
