Seth Balogh is currently the Chief Academic Officer with responsibility for compliance and regulatory affairs at Bryan University in Springfield, MO. He has also served as CAO and Senior Vice President for compliance and regulatory affairs at Brookline College in Phoenix; as CAO at Anthem Education Group in Phoenix; and Director of student services at Westwood College Online. Mr. Balogh earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in bio-behavioral science at the University of Connecticut. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College. He served on the ACICS Council and Board in 2011 and 2012, and as an evaluator for four years.
Julie Blake is Vice President of Operations for Eagle Gate College Group in Salt Lake City. She previously served as Senior Vice President for marketing and admissions at Neumont University, as Vice President of marketing at TenFold Corporation, and as Director of marketing for 3Com Corporation. Ms. Blake earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St Thomas in St. Paul, MN and has completed coursework toward an MBA at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. She has served as an ACICS evaluator since 2009.
Gladys Flecha is the Academic Dean at Humacao Community College in Puerto Rico. She has also served the institution as a project director, as an administrative and accounting official, auditor and instructor. Ms. Flecha earned a Master’s degree in education from the University of Turabo, and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico. She is completing coursework toward s a doctoral degree in education leadership at the Graduate School of Keiser University in FL. She has served as an ACICS evaluator since 2008.
Monica Foote is President of the Long Island Business Institute in Flushing, NY. Previously, she was Regional Campus Dean for the Manhattan and Bronx campuses of Mercy College, academic dean for the Drake School of Manhattan, and program director at the Wood Tobe-Coburn School in NYC. Ms. Foote earned an MA in human development from Columbia University and a BA in political science from Fordham University. She is completing coursework toward a doctorate in human development at Columbia. She has served as an evaluator for ACICS since 2010.
LaShondra Peebles serves as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at Chicago State University. She has also served as director of compliance at the university, as assistant director of regulatory affairs and compliance at Education Management Corporation, and as a faculty member at American Intercontinental University online and Illinois State University College of Business. Ms. Peebles earned her law degree at the University of Illinois, and a B.A. in English at the University of Michigan. She has served as an ACICS evaluator since 2012.
Miguel Rivera is Vice President of Academic Affairs at Dewey University in Puerto Rico. He has also served as director of planning at the institution, and as a manager at Rivieras Del Rio Development Corporation in Puerto Rico. Mr. Rivera earned an M.A. in sociology at the American University, an M.A. in Criminal Justice from Inter-American University, a B.A. in political science from the University of Puerto Rico. He has served as an evaluator for ACICS since 2009.
Beth Wilson is Executive Vice President of Corinthian Colleges. She has served as executive vice president of operations for the institution, as well as vice president and regional operations manager. Ms. Wilson earned an MBA from National University in San Diego, and a B.A. from California State College. She has served as a commissioner and chair of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, and on the board of the Career College Association.
